Jenna Wood works as a school psychologist for multiple sites within the Garden Grove Unified School District. This is her ninth year with OCASP. She completed her Master of Arts and Educational Specialist in School Psychology degrees at Chapman University. In past years, she has presented journal review research on prevention and intervention for selective mutism with Dr. Randy Busse and ABA strategies applied within a three-tiered model at the California Association of School Psychologists (CASP) Annual Conventions in 2010 and 2011, respectively. Her paper with Dr. Busse on selective mutism was published in the 2011 issue of Contemporary School Psychology. Originally from northern California, Jenna received her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development at UC Davis. She has an extensive background in ABA with experience as a behavior therapist for children with autism and other developmental delays. When she is not working, Jenna enjoys spending time with her family and traveling the world.
Libby has worked in Education for the last 19 years, including as a School Psychologist for twelve years, both in a charter school organization and a traditional school district. More recently, Libby has been a Program Specialist in Irvine Unified School District for the past 4 years. In addition, she has previously been involved in training school staff in crisis prevention and intervention, school threat and suicide assessments, and setting up crisis prevention protocols in local school districts. She is a CSTAG trainer and PREPaRE trainer. In her free time, Libby enjoys traveling with her family and being active outside in the sunshine.
London is in her 8th year as a school psychologist. She loves her role in Irvine Unified School District because it allows her to work with students with a variety of skills and needs and collaborate with teammates. This is her first year on the OCASP board! An Orange County native, London can usually be found at Disneyland or the beach in her spare time.
Dr. Angela Weedn is currently a school psychologist in Irvine Unified School district supporting students with significant mental health needs requiring placement in Nonpublic Schools and Residential Treatment Centers. Sarah Meeks is a Licensed Educational Psychologist with over 18 years of experience in education. She earned both her M.A. and Ed.S. in School Psychology from Chapman University in Orange and her B.A. from California State University, Long Beach. Sarah is also a devoted mother of two boys and lives in her hometown of Huntington Beach. Outside of work, she enjoys attending soccer games, spending time at the beach, and running with her dogs! Throughout her career, Sarah has served as a school psychologist in the Irvine Unified School District, working across elementary, middle, and high schools. She has extensive experience with special populations, including students with a range of moderate to severe Autism, social-emotional disorders, and various learning disabilities. Recently, she expanded her professional journey by obtaining her license and now practices privately. Sarah enjoys sharing all the happenings and current events of OCASP through social media platforms! |
