Intervention and Responding to Self -Injurious Students in the Schools Presented by Richard Lieberman
This workshop will highlight the National, State, and County perspectives of Suicidal youth in our schools. Rich will discuss and define self-injury, including classifications, etiology and both individual and school-wide interventions. The group will review research on risk factors, learn warning signs and review evidence based interventions for suicidal behavior. Suicide risk assessment will be briefly reviewed and Rich will provide recommendations for suicide postvention in schools.
